AQUABIND
A High Quality Binder for Animal Feeds of all Types  This product is in use in more than 50 countries.

AQUABIND was developed to meet the unique requirements of the feed industry. It is a highly concentrated reactive binder that forms a durable hard feed with exceptional water resistance and stability. AQUABIND can be used in either pelleted or extruded feeds. Very low inclusion rates allow for greater manufacturing flexibility.

INSTRUCTIONS
AQUABIND is designed for use in feed.  For optimal performance AQUABIND should be used at a rate between 0.5 and 7 kg. per metric ton of reed.  The exact amount depends upon the make-up and particle size in the respective feed.  Add AQUABIND directly into the feed mixer and proceed with standard pelleting operations.  Increased moisture will assist in regulating the desired pellet stability.  Pellet stability is directly related to the amount of AQUABIND used in the ration.
PACKAGING AND STORAGE
AQUABIND is available in 25 kg. Multi-wall draft bags. Store at room temperature in a dry area,  Avoid double stacking of pallets.

Text Box: PELLET QUALITY
AQUABIND forms a more durable pellet immediately after processing. Optimal pellet quality will be achieved 24-36 hours after pelleting.
AQUABIND binder gives the feed manufacturer the control to solve his binding problems in the production of feeds.
Low inclusion rates- Low inclusion rates allow for additional space for other nutrients and ingredients.
Durability in water- 1,6 or 12 hours is not a problem; you decide the time of duration the feed must be stable in water.
Less waste/fines- reduce fines created during transport and handling of the feed.  The presence of fines is expensive and creates a bad image for the feed.
Improve Feed Conversion- by holding the feed together you can assure a balanced diet and improvements in feed conversion.
Better consistency and hardness- the optimal stability of the feed will make it irreplaceable when using automatic feeders.
Consistent Feed quality- your feed will consistently be of exceptional quality and appearance.  Your customer will know that today’s quality will be the same always

Text Box: FACTORS THAT AFFECT THE QUALITY OF FEED
The particle size and types of ingredients used greatly influences the stability and quality of the feed.  Large particle sizes are more difficult to bond together as are higher levels of fat and oils.  The unique properties of AQUABIND allow the feed formulator to use standardized formulations and still achieve the desired levels of  binding.
WHEN TO APPLY AQUABIND
We recommend mixing AQUABIND with the macro ingredients prior to pelleting.
TEMPERATURE AND MOISTURE
When using AQUABIND the temperature and moisture levels should be regulated to obtain a minimum temperature of 76C to 90C and a moisture level of at least 15-18% (or an inclusion of 2% water if necessary.

Text Box: PELLETING PROCESS
AQUABIND does not affect normal pellet manufacture.  Time allowed for cooling, drying, and the addition of fat are unaffected.
EXTRUSION PROCESS
Less AQUABIND  (by 40-50%) is used in extrusion process than in the pelleting process.

Text Box: APPLICATIONS
AQUABIND is designed for use in pelleted feed rations.  For optimal performance it should be used at a rate between 0.5 and 7 kgs/metric ton of feed.  The exact quantity will depend upon the make-up and particle size of the feed.   AQUABIND is added directly into the feed mixer during standard pelleting or extrusion operations.  Increased moisture regulates the desired pellet stability.  Pellet stability is directly related to the amount of AQUABIND used in the ration.

Text Box: AQUABIND is a low inclusion feed binder that provides the feed manufacturer with the ability to formulate a feed based on the needs of his clientele.    AQUABIND is activated by heat and moisture during the extrusion pelleting process.   This activation results in a cross linking reaction that yields a solid resin with a fiber like structure.   For applications requiring a longer lasting pellet, a higher level of AQUABIND results in the desired durability and stability.
